Dear Members,
At the upcoming AGM in October, the Board will be proposing several updates to the Club’s Articles of Association. These changes are intended to align our governance with current best practices and to reflect the significant growth the Club has experienced over the past six years.
The Governance Committee is currently developing these proposals, which will be shared with members in advance of the AGM for review and voting.
One of the key proposals is the introduction of term limits for Board Directors, with a maximum of two three-year terms. The current Board intends to adopt these provisions, which is likely to result in several vacancies at the time of the AGM.
To ensure a smooth and effective transition, we warmly invite members who are interested in contributing to the Club’s future by joining the Board to express their interest. Please send an email, together with a CV, to the Club Secretary - clubsec.parsonsgreenclub@gmail.com
The Board operates through a portfolio structure, and we are currently seeking candidates for the following roles:
• Chair (succeeding Annabel Jefferson)
• Finance (succeeding Phil Markham)
• Membership (succeeding Johnny Bentinck)
• IT & Operational Infrastructure (new portfolio)
Our Club thrives through the voluntary contributions of its members, whether through committees, working groups, or the Board itself, alongside our dedicated management team. We very much hope that many of you will consider stepping forward to support the continued success of the Club.
