140th Anniversary Party - details for tomorrow

Dear PGC Member

We have a fantastic day & evening lined up for you tomorrow (Saturday) to celebrate our 140th Anniversary.

It will be hot so please ensure you bring suncream, hats and plenty of fluids.

The day will start with all the Nations Cup participants having their faces painted in team colours at 12 noon.

The sporting action will begin at 1pm for tennis, squash, gym challenges and table tennis.

Gourmet Events will be providing a delicious BBQ, Pizzas and Sweet Cart.

It wouldn't be the same without ice cream to cool you down and we have booked an Ice Cream Van to visit us in the afternoon and serve up your favourites from 1pm until 5pm. Our ice cream seller will accept card or cash.

Our outdoor bar will be open serving draught beer, bottled beer, glasses/bottles of wine, soft drinks and water.

Please note the BBQ and other food stations will be serving from 1pm until 5.30pm and the kitchen will otherwise be closed.

During the afternoon we have face painting, Bouncy Castle, club activities on the lawn & croquet to keep everyone entertained in the sunshine. We will provide as much shade as we can for players and spectators.

Prize-giving will be at approx 5.30pm on the bowls lawn with a magnificent trophy and champagne up for grabs.

The evening entertainment will start at 7pm with live music outside whilst you are sipping your welcome cocktail and eating the wonderful canapes prepared by Gourmet Events.

At 9pm the music will come indoors into the Oval Room, and our singer will transform into a DJ playing your favourite dance tracks until 12 midnight when the party will end.
